Optimist vs. Pessimist

I have this friend, I think he's absolutely amazing. When something bad happens to him you would never know because he always is happy, he is one of those people who you want to be around. He just looks on the brighter things in life. aka an optimist.

But then... They're are also people I know that just love taking their issues out on others. the pessimist. When they're having a bad day and things aren't going their way they will be in a bad mood and you don't want to be around them.

I always ask myself... Which one am I?

I love being happy, but sometimes when I'm in a bad mood I will snap at you.
I was thinking about this in a little more detail and came up to this conclusion...
Happiness is my thing but I'm not a complete optimist. If things in my life are crappy no one knows about them because I won't let myself be the moopy one because I don't want to ruin other peoples fun. But If I am just in a bad mood then I usually just won't talk to people. So they don't know anyway.
I wish I could be more of an optimist than what I am... Just constantly smiling. Honestly, those people amaze me.

I think it's all in what you could call the "placebo affect" except you don't take any sort of pill or medication.

The mind is a huge thing, If you keep thinking downer thoughts then you're life will "Suck" as you put it. But if you keep smiling and force yourself through it then life will be great.

Don't blame your unhappiness on others... Because in reality its all your doing and thinking thats making you unhappy.

Everyday just wake up, blast some music, look at yourself in the mirror and say "I'm a sexy beast, Today is going to be amazing." And then dance around and sing.

If you have confidence in yourself others will see it. Sometimes I up talk myself and people believe I can do anything. haha. BUT do NOT become cocky and think you're the bees knees.

I get it, you can't always keep everything bottled in. But what you can just disperse away because all in all its that not big a deal then just forget about it.
If you are having a bad day, remember, somebody is having it a lot worse somewhere else.

Just be happy.

"Everything will be okay in the end, if its not okay, its not the end."
