Fish.

I like to delete my facebook account every now and again, although it usually sparks back up within a few days. It makes me feel a tad bit rebellious though. Like I'm not going with the flow I'm heading down stream instead of up with the rest of my friends.
Keeping on this same note of water creatures..

There are plenty of fish in the sea. (there I said it)

Questions always come to mind,

  • did he really care? I think so... Or he just had amazing enough patient to put up with me.
  • Is he going to read this blog post and know its about him? This I'm not sure on because now that he's officially through with me I have nothing left for him to be of interest. He most likely doesn't even remember this exist.
If he does read this then, hey bud whats up??
  • The term "cold shoulder" comes to mind now when I think of him or you depending on who is reading this.
Meh, I'll be fine.
He's the one that's gotta look out for a torpedoing mob of people who do care for me. Shocker, someone cares!
Mmh a plethora of dogs when I'm older? Deal, who needs a husband. I'm not cat lady though. Cats have issues. Speak for the people!
Speaking of which our divorce was never final boy! Ya know.. From our fake marriage.
Psht.
I'm happy.
That's the only thing I'm learning from this ordeal.
Stay happy.

Sometimes... I have to write concert reports.

Basically I don't put any time or effort into these and I decide to post them on my blog for the world to see.
Please excuse my lack of punctuation and error in this... Like I said, no effort whatsoever.

Concert Report

Orem’s Choir Concert: Out of the darkness… Into the light.

So the performers started off stage, in the auditorium, with little candlelights, the music started and they started to sing. What’s this? The song sounds vaguely familiar… That would be Carmina Burana they are singing. How dare they copy us! Eh hem. Anyway, as they sang this song they shuffled onto the stage. It didn’t look much like a good walk. It clearly was a shuffle. I felt like they were gonna start tripping over each other, causing a huge fiasco.  Now let me tell you… Our version was so much more babe like.  It wasn’t as powerful and as strong. Too bad Orem, maybe next time you wont try to copy us.

They redeemed themselves on the next song. The girls were amazing. Altos and sopranos. I give them props.

After their third song they ran off the risers, literally ran.  And then threw themselves off the stage! I swear one kid did like a flip. After that ruckus A Cappella mosied their way onto the stage coming from the left side. They sang a song in which we sung last year. Once again, we dominated. (like we did in football against them… just sayin’) The girls facials are pretty good but the guys just looked ticked off, bored, and like they could be doing something else at that moment.

Not gonna lie, I was bored to tears. No enthusiasm what.so.ever.

A kid touched his face… My eyes flickered from my program and peered into his soul. How dare he touch his face during a performance!? I’ll scold him afterwards.

They sang a medley for Ragtime… Sopranos were awful. Which is sad to say because they are one of mine. A soprano, we have to stay strong.

Lastly… The choir director called up all the Alumni for the last song. I decided to join them.

I now am apart of the alumni for Orem high school. No biggie.

The end :)

This beautiful drawing would be the only thing that kept Dakota and I  sane for an hour.
Please enjoy trying to figure out this masterpiece.

Nightly Habits

I have weird nightly habits. And no, this isn't like 8 or 9 I'm talking like 2 in the morning.

Listen up:

Around 2 each night (sometimes it changes but its usually this time) I wake up and just crave cereal I honestly have no clue why... So I sneak down to my kitchen, pour myself a bowl of fruit loops and then go back to my room to eat. While I'm eating I watch my TV and always get engrossed in the show that's playing. Thus causing me to lose about another hour of sleep. I don't really know why I can't go back to sleep. Every time I wake up in the middle of the night I feel like I need to move around for a bit. And then I can fall asleep just fine.

..Pretty sure I haven't slept through a full night in forever.

For those who care to know..

I am healed...I think.

Let me give you a little back ground story of what this means.

So going back to June I woke up with a tickle in my throat, didn't think much of it.
As the day progressed it came a tad worse but I thought it would be gone by the next day.
I woke up the next day with sore throat status, still didn't think much, this happened from time to time and I just had to let it pass after a few days..
It got worse.
One Sunday I woke up, voice gone. Completely.
I had to sing in church this Sunday too... That didn't happen.
A few days later voice came back but I was still sick.
Weeks passed and I was not getting better... About three weeks later we decided it was time for the IHC.
Bronchitis.
I was given meds and sent on my merry way.
The medicine sucked to take, it made me way sick as it was helping me get better.
I got better about mid July. Or so I thought.
August came, I woke up with that same tickle.
Crap.
It got worse but not as bad as it was in June.. About a week passed and we decided to go to the IHC again.. They gave me medication but it did nothing just made me sick to my stomach, thats all.
More weeks passed and all I had was this constant, hacking cough. People at school had started to become so accustomed to this cough they would know when I was near by when they heard it.
I was so not ready to become known as the sickly girl at school.
Back to the IHC for round three.
They took an X-ray to see if I had anything wrong with my lungs.. Thankfully no.
I was now given two medications, an anti inflammatory and an inhaler to see if it was some sort of asthma.
Once again I was made sick to my stomach by these drugs.
But...
A few days ago I coughed less.
and less.
Two days ago I didn't cough at all.
My stomach stopped hurting.
I didn't want to Jinx myself.I had been sick for about four months straight.
I have yet to cough today and I feel fine.
Am I better?
I think so:)
If not then it was a good few days of being fine.
But I'm looking on the bright side.

Todays Moto:

"Fake it till you make it."

All of today this is what was having to go through my head...
And its hard, I'm not gonna lie.

Alright boys,

Alright boys listen up,
So multiple times this happens to me..
(Text message from some sort of babe)
Babe: "Hey we should hang out sometime:)"
Me: "Yeah for sure!"
Babe: "When should we?"
Me: "Uhm I dunno? Thursday?"
Babe: "Okay cool:)"
Thursday comes and goes.. Did I hang out with that babe? No.
I'm changing this.
Boys if you really want to hang out with a girl you have got to put forth the effort and not just expect the girl to make plans. One of the things that bugs me is when a guy wants to hang out but he makes you make up every single little detail that you will be doing for that day. If the girl ask you to hang out then that's fine but if you ask a girl then have something in mind, have when and where, and make sure it actually happens!
Because you'll probably never end up hanging out if you don't put your foot forward.

Water Girl.

I am on the football team.

Okay... I don't actually play for the team but I am the team manager... Aka the water girl.
Now some people may say, "Doesn't that suck?" Well it has its pro's and con's lets weigh ehm out.

The con(s):
  • Super time consuming; I have to go to practices Tues and wed from 3-6 on Thursdays soph and jv have a game and that takes me out of school at around 1 and doesn't get me home till 9. And then varsity on Friday which is 5:30-9 so yes alot of my time is spent with that.
  • I've never heard so many swears in my life.
  • When the boys lose its like PMS central.

Pros:
  • The men, super attractive, they've gotten to know me better as a person.
  • This is kinda shallow sounding but yes my popularity, I feel, has sky rocketed.
  • I get to be on the field up close.
  • the bus rides are hecka fun.

Some funny things that happen to me from this is that I've realized the men would probably die without the water girls.

Exhibit A: Austin, yelling to his parents for Ibuprofen but they cannot hear him over the crowd. I come out of nowhere and say I have some in my bag which I give to him. He praises me and walks away.

Exhibit B: A time out is called in which the water girls have to rush over to the boys who are now being coached by the coach and being told what to do next as us water girls hand water to the boys. Bryson, number 5, frantically yells, "I need someone to tie my shoe!" I kneel down and tie his shoe. He graciously says thank you and how much he appreciates us and once again more praising before running out onto the field.

Yes... The men do smell.
Yes... If we lose the men are so grumpy its often annoying
Yes... Some boys whom I would never expect to swear drop a bomb sometimes...

...But I love it.
It's an experience that I can now take with me.

But seriously..
I deserve an Emmy.
